September 9: Seduction and Sanctification Bond's
triple concerto for the Aureole Trio, (Laura Gilbert, flute,
Mary Hamm, viola, Stacey Shames, harp) commissioned by the
Gettysburg Chamber Orchestra, was premiered on September
9, 2007 in Gettysburg, VA.
September 16: Pater Patriae
Bond and writer/ historian Dr. Myles Lee collaborated on
a work for narrator and wind ensemble called Pater Patriae
using George Washington's words. This musical portrait was
performed by the ensemble vol-au-vent and given its premiere
at George Washington's Mount Vernon.
October 27: The Frog Prince
The Salisbury Symphony in North Carolina performed Bond's
composition The Frog Prince. Jeffrey Schoyen conducted.
November 8 - 10: New York Philharmonic Pre-Concert Lectures
Bond gave lectures before three of the New York Philharmonic
Concerts, discussing the upcoming programs and playing excerpts
on the piano.
November: Scat
Bond's composition "Scat" for saxophone and guitar
was performed by Laurent Esoppey in Vevey, Switzerland at
the Degre 21 Concert series. Mr. Esoppey has recorded the
work on his new CD.

Susan and Renee Jolles performed Sacred Sisters at the New
Marlborough Village Association Winter House Concerts in
New Marlborough Massachusetts

Duo pianists Cassie Yukawa and Rosey Chan perform Binary
at Weil Recital hall
March: Carmen in Chicago
Bond will conduct George Bizet's Carmen with Chamber Opera
Chicago at the Athenaeum Theater in Chicago.
April 7, 14 and 28 Cutting Edge Concerts
Bond hosts her new music series at the Thalia Theater in
Symphony Space. Shaping Sound: Architects, Composer and
Concert Halls brings together prominent architects who have
designed concert halls and composers. Scenes from Bond's
opera Mrs. President will be performed on April 14.
