A concert of chamber
music by Victoria Bond, entitled Woven Sounds, A
Musical Tapestry will be presented at the Jack Larsen's Longhouse in East
Hampton. Included in the program is the string quartets Dreams of Flying,
and My Grandfather's Balalaika as well as the duet Woven and several solo
works.

Pianofest
Victoria Bond will be
composer-in-residence at this year's Pianofest in East
Hampton. She has been commissioned by the festival to compose a work which
will be premiered in July. The work, for two pianos, is called Binary.

Gettysburg
Chamber Orchestra
Bond has been commissioned to compose a triple concerto for the Aurea
Trio and the Gettysburg Chamber Orchestra. Based on a Civil War theme,
the work will be premiered in 2007.
