Renee Jolles, violin and Susan Jolles, harp will premiere Victoria Bond's
Sacred Sisters, commissioned by The American Society for Jewish Music. The
concert will take place at The Center for Jewish History in NYC.

will have their works performed by the Cutting Edge Ensemble. Victoria Bond
moderates and hosts the program

Composers Donald Crockett and Adam Roberts will have their works performedby the ensemble janus. The Duo Gelland will come from Sweden to perform works by Swedish composers Carl-Axel Hall, Kerstin Jeppsson, Erik Forare and the premiere of Victoria Bond's Woven.

Music Festival of the Hamptons

Victoria Bond will conduct a concert of choral music including works by
Lukas Foss, Norman Dello Joio, Stephen Dickman, Katherine Hoover and
Victoria Bond.

Music Festival of the Hamptons

Victoria Bond's composition The Frog Prince will be presented at a Young
Peoples' Concert featuring the Sylvan Winds. Victoria Bond narrates and
conducts.

 

August 6, '05

Longhouse

A concert of chamber music by Victoria Bond, entitled Woven Sounds, A
Musical Tapestry will be presented at the Jack Larsen's Longhouse in East
Hampton. Included in the program is the string quartets Dreams of Flying,
and My Grandfather's Balalaika as well as the duet Woven and several solo
works.


July/August '05

Pianofest

Victoria Bond will be composer-in-residence at this year's Pianofest in East
Hampton. She has been commissioned by the festival to compose a work which
will be premiered in July. The work, for two pianos, is called Binary.

 

Gettysburg Chamber Orchestra


Bond has been commissioned to compose a triple concerto for the Aurea Trio and the Gettysburg Chamber Orchestra. Based on a Civil War theme, the work will be premiered in 2007.
