"Mrs. President" is about the first woman to run for president of the United States. Her name was Victoria Woodhull and she ran in 1872 on the Equal Party ticket. She was jailed on election night by a hostile society that branded her "Mrs. Satan." However, she knew that her vision would be carried forward and she never gave up.
